Is the stock market open today?
If it is a weekday in the US between 09:30 and 16:00 Eastern, and it is not a federal holiday, the NYSE and Nasdaq are open. The homepage shows live status for every market we track.
Is the stock market open right now?

What time does the New York Stock Exchange open?
09:30 Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Pre-market trading is available from 04:00 ET; after-hours trading runs until 20:00 ET. See NYSE for live status.
What time does the London Stock Exchange open?
08:00 GMT (or BST in summer), Monday through Friday. The LSE closes at 16:30. See LSE.
Do crypto markets ever close?
Spot crypto markets do not close. CME-listed crypto futures do - Sunday 17:00 CT through Friday 16:00 CT, with a sixty-minute daily break. See CME Bitcoin Futures.

Why is Saudi Arabia open on Sunday?
The Saudi work week is Sunday through Thursday, with Friday as the day of communal prayer. Most Gulf markets and Israel follow the same pattern. The guide covers this.
Does this site handle daylight saving?
Yes, automatically. All times are computed from each exchange's IANA timezone, so DST transitions are applied without manual updates.
Is there an API?
Not currently. The dataset is small and lives in a single JavaScript file - you can read it directly from /assets/app.js.
How accurate are the holidays?
Approximate. We cover the major full-day closures for each market. Half-days and last-minute changes are not always reflected. Always confirm with the exchange for trading-critical decisions.
